It is hard to come up with a list of best Filipino movies of all time, as the Filipino audience have different preference when it comes to film genre.

Based on the criteria set by critics, dramatic movies would automatically dominate the list of best films.  However, the more popular movies in the Philippines are obviously the action movies and comedy films.

On historical significance and their lasting impression, the list of best movies of all time should include the following.
