Can you withdraw cash from Globe Gcash using ATM?
GCash Card is the first automated teller machine (ATM) card issued by a non-bank institution in the Philippines. In October 2010, G-Xchange INc., a wholly owned mobile commerce subsidiary of Globe Telecom, launched GCash Card which allows GCash users to withdraw funds in their GCash wallets via any of the 9,000 Bancnet, Megalink, Expressnet or Encash ATMs nationwide.
G Cash users are charged P20 per transaction that will be automatically deducted from their GCash wallet.
G Xchange, which has remittance license and electronic license from the BSp, owns 40 percent of BPI Banco Savings Bank and provides financial services over the mobile or related technology networks.
There are now 1 million Gcash users who transact through the 18,000 Gcash Remit outlets in the country. Remittances coursed through GCash Remit reportedly costs 30 percent cheaper than other channels.
Globe GCash Card is described as the only customizable ATM card in the country and also serves as a valid ID as the back portion of the card carries the subscribers' photo. Registration for the GCash card costs P100.
